University of Leeds – Sir William Henry Bragg Building

Project Details

This project completed in January 2021 comprising large new-build extensions to the roof and side of a Grade II* listed building.

We worked closely with the client, main contractor and consultant team to protect the client’s interests and monitor quality, conformance and design coordination during the construction phase.

Key issues arose over standard of workmanship with regards to the level of finish to the exposed pre-cast concrete frame and feature stair installation which were notified to the Contractor before being reported to the Project Manager/Client team leading to remedial actions being put in place to resolve the issues.
