Project Details

This project provided the hospital with a new main entrance and Integrated Procedures Unit. Due to the location of the works, they had to be sensitively managed to ensure the potential impact upon the operation of the hospital.

We were employed in the capacity of NEC Supervisor and worked closely with the Contractor to assist with our knowledge on phasing and work in live environments.

Following an inspection we noted that a large floor slab was not within tolerance to that prescribed by the Work’s Information. We worked with the Trust team and the Contractor to form a remedial works proposal that would not affect programme and ensure that the floor slab was corrected.
