This project was and completed during the Covid pandemic and required high levels of programming and organisation for works carried out under difficult circumstances in a Listed building.
We compiled detailed plans of work and building fabric strategies with the Contractor and client. This ensured that the required hard-wired fire alarm system was installed in full accordance with Local Authority Conservation Officer’s requirements and Listed Building application.
Key issues included the management of out of hours working patterns, Covid social distancing requirements, the system switch over from old to new alarm system, building fabric coverage, the cataloguing of listed features and methods of annexation & fixing.
