The brief required us to devise a bespoke, dynamic survey model to assess the current condition of LJMU’s existing estate on a building by building basis. This was presented as a live and usable model to enable the University to manage their estate in a planned and proactive manner.
We also provided cost advice across a 20 year Planned Preventative Maintenance term to inform the University of their financial and maintenance liabilities across the period.
The University then utilised the information during the appointment of a Measured Term Maintenance Contractor and negotiate the back-log maintenance and repairing liabilities position.
